Our Exhibition

A spectacular and very unusual exhibition of life drawings. These drawings are compiled from a group of artists who meet weekly to work with a live model to explore the nature of the human form. Diverse artists between the ages of 16 – 85, from South Glamorgan will show and sell their work on the main walls of venues throughout South Wales in Bridgend, Cardiff and Newport from June to August 2015.

GlamourMan was an Andy Lamb project which derived it’s inspiration from a series of ‘hipster’ pics of men with beards posing in glamouor poses with power tools. Andy thought it would be a good idea to have a go, but naked.

All Or Muffin

Back in November I was getting naked for a hen party in South Devon. Funny how one thing leads to another but suffice to say one of the hen’s got in touch with me a month or so later and invited me over to Horsley (near Stroud) to run a one hour taster life drawing session for her newly formed Women’s Institute group also known as ‘All or Muffin’.

We’re in print again – this time for alt.cardiff – ‘If it’s offbeat and in Cardiff then it’s on here’ – This is what student journalist Megan Nisbet had to say following her visit to our Tuesday life drawing session at 10 Feet Tall last week:

So, Andy got a call from the producers of Switch who wanted 10 models and were prepared to pay £120 per model for an hours work, but, they only had enough money for five models. So Andy split down the money and took along 9 models who were paid £70 each for a fun evening at Merthyr Mawr.
